Wonderful day. Started with a nice buffet brekkie. The a strenuous trek round some caves https://www.spilaio-perama.gr/en/visit_spilaio https://youtu.be/nEAbr9GaGxU?si=Y3vIuPL2SDxhCtN- A kilometre and 600 slippy steps underground and then you emerge after an hour the other side of a hill from where you went in so have to walk back. Council owned so when you come out you don’t emerge into a gift shop… there was one but it was shut…. Missed opportunity! Then had a stunning drive to Meteora where all the churches atop rocks are. Avoided the new toll road that is mostly tunnels so went way up on a wide deserted immaculate road past ski resorts. Was 6C at the top, 24 at the bottom! Best drive I’ve had in eons, even in a diesel Citroen. Then back to base. Zonked but happy.
