Hamstress reckoned she could smell a water leak in the loft, so yesterday I sent her up on the roof to inspect. We have about 20% flat roof which she suspected. But a visual inspection and use of the hosepipe showed nothing. But while she was up there I lobbed up some bitumen paint and got her to paint any cracks and crevices she could see. Then so get to work with a long brush to remove some moss etc. I sat in a deckchair below with an ice pop supervising. Tough and dirty work but someone has to supervise!
