After decades of listening to people talking I consider I have a good ear for accent and comprehension of what someone is saying. However, here I have come across a strange being who I cannot say without talking absolute bullShit that I understand fully, or even in the main. Listening to him without incredible attention while not reading what he actually says requires David Lamy on mastermind levels of concentration. Your mind drifts for a moment and you are absolutely none the wiser of what has just happened in history. There's incredible irony in someone unable to clearly enunciate the word 'catholic' .. so bad you genuinely do not know he's said it, even 5 minutes into a video where the word 'catholic' is repeated a lot. There's incredible irony in a video all about the war between Catholics and Protestants that the narrator can neither pronounce the word Protestant. So bad is he that without reading the subtitles you would be unaware of either word being said. A cross between the cartoon hunter in bugs bunny movies and some kind of actor in a film about the confessions of a serial killer, the mumbling bumbling semi-coherent hillbilly multi-murderer reading his last confession. The final joke is that the commentators love him to a commentator, fail to point out his terrible inability to speak, and have given him 40 thumbs up and none down. On the other hand, the quality of the script is top notch, as are the graphics maps and images chosen.
